    • Store your jewelry in a dry place when not wearing it.

    • Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, sunscreen, and harsh chemicals.

    • Remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, or sleeping whenever possible.

    • Wipe your piece gently with a soft polishing cloth after wearing.

    • Keep natural shells and freshwater pearls away from prolonged moisture and protect them from scratches or impacts.

    Sterling Silver: May naturally tarnish over time. A silver polishing cloth or gentle silver cleaner will restore its shine.

    Gold PVD Stainless Steel: Highly resistant to tarnishing and fading. While it's designed for everyday wear, avoiding harsh chemicals will help maintain its finish for years to come.

    Stainless Steel: Durable, corrosion-resistant, and ideal for daily wear. Simply clean with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly.

  • Many of our pieces are made with stainless steel components, which are chosen for their durability and resistance to tarnishing. However, because our jewelry may include natural shells, pearls, resin details, or handmade accents, we recommend treating each piece with care.

    Our jewelry is made for coastal living, but to keep it looking beautiful as long as possible, we recommend removing it before swimming, showering, applying lotions, spraying perfume, or using harsh chemicals.

  • We choose materials that are made to last, including stainless steel and PVD gold stainless steel whenever possible. These materials are more resistant to tarnishing than many traditional plated jewelry options.

    That said, all jewelry lasts longer with proper care. Avoid prolonged exposure to saltwater, chlorine, perfumes, lotions, and cleaning products.

  • Yes! Many of our pieces feature real natural shells. Because shells are created by nature, each one may have slight differences in shape, color, size, texture, and pattern.

    These natural variations are part of what makes every Mermaid Money piece unique.

  • Your piece will be very similar to the photo, but it may not be identical. Since many of our designs use natural shells, pearls, and handmade details, small differences should be expected.

    We believe those little differences are what make each piece feel special and one of a kind.

  • Yes. Every Mermaid Money piece is handmade in small batches. Each design is carefully assembled and finished by hand rather than mass-produced.

    Because of this, some collections are available only in limited quantities.

  • Most ready-to-ship orders are carefully packaged and shipped within 3–5 business days.

    If an item is made to order, the estimated processing time will be listed on the product page.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout unless otherwise stated.

    From time to time, we may also offer free shipping promotions or free shipping on orders over a qualifying amount.

  • We accept returns on eligible unworn items within 14 days of delivery.

    Items must be unused, unworn, and returned in their original packaging. For hygiene reasons, earrings are final sale and cannot be returned.

    Custom, personalized, sale, and made-to-order pieces are also final sale unless they arrive damaged or there is an issue with your order.

  • If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of delivery and include photos of both the item and its packaging.

    We'll review the issue and do our best to make it right.

  • Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or make changes to your order.

    Once an order has shipped, we're unable to cancel or modify it.

  • We may offer limited custom options in the future. At this time, most of our jewelry is created as part of small-batch collections.

    If a custom option is available, it will be noted on the product page.
