We're Cameron and Ashley, a husband and wife team, ocean lovers, and creative souls. Our journey started with a simple love for the beach and the treasures it leaves behind.
What began as collecting shells on our favorite Florida shores quickly turned into something bigger; a passion for turning those treasures into jewelry that tells a story.

CAMERON
Growing up in Port Saint John, Florida, Cameron developed a love for the ocean at an early age. From living aboard a sailboat as a child to years spent fishing, snorkeling, and exploring Florida’s coast, the water has always shaped his life.
After serving 8 years in the United States Marine Corps, Cameron brought that same discipline and passion into building meaningful coastal experiences rooted in creativity, nature, and connection.

ASHLEY
Ashley grew up surrounded by the forests and mountains of East Tennessee before falling in love with Florida’s coast. Her creativity, warmth, and eye for coastal treasures helped shape the heart of Mermaid Money.
From collecting shells to creating handmade pieces inspired by the sea, Ashley brings a thoughtful, nature-focused touch to every experience and handcrafted piece shared through the business.
